Perspective

Worship at its most basic level is to show devotion. In other words to worship is to be motivated by something, in pursuit or something.

with that being said, "what motivates you?"
To worship God, is not only to sing songs, go to church and pray. It also includes molding your lifestyle to reflect the teachings of the bible. WWJD is not just a trendy item to wear around...it should be the basis of a lifestyle. Just a random though sparked by Weekly Wisdom.

Find YOUR motivation, and I hope its not money

and remember know one is perfect, motivations change, and YOU can greatly change your life by changing your perspective with regards to it...

I am...

I am just a sheep, while He is the shepherd
I may falter in faith
I may stray from His path
I may take His existence for granted
...but He is God
With an undying love for his flock
I LIVE, and it is Him whom I serve

Thank you God for taking me this far...

Thought 5/15

Im weird I admit it
I believe that over time the words "weird" and "normal" have changed.

bypassing a potential rant at the moment, I am weird because i am a male who admits weakness, and finds strength in Christ to counter act my fears. I am seeking higher education, which is more than i can say for alot of people.

I just believe that i am no where near normal becauss i have not fallen victim to society's ever lowering bar. Remember when females were actually feminine; shy, had values and wanted guys to treat them right?. Remember when men wanted to be providers and make a good impression on the world? When we were little girls wanted to be nurses, veternarians, and housewives. Men wanted to be Cops, sports figures or the president. When did we lower our expectations? When did we lose our childhood dreams and values.

When inadequacy becomes the norm, people like me become weird.
When society ceases to hold people accountable, the metaphorical bar becomes lower
When he proverbial bar is lowered in regards to standards society loses...

Fuck society and their norms in all honesty. Hold strong to morals and values. Dont settle for what is seen as the norm. Individuality is key. Misery loves company, and inadquacy is the easy thing to fall victim to. YOU should know that the path less traveled is that way for a reason. The hardest things to do are usually the only things worth actually doing.

I didnt think this would become a rant but it did, and im not sorry for it....

-"Trying to fit a square peg into a round hole..."
-"Nahh youre like my brother, youre like my best friend" <---your an idiot because your mate SHOULD be youre bestfriend
-"A woman cant have too many friends" <--made me LOL
-"Misery loves company"

Very nice watch, to hightlight the downfalls of a broken home on the black women, and in turn the future black relationship, with some humor. *SIGH* been there done that, but glad someone oen is talking about it.

Siddhartha

The opposite of truth is just as true, mind full of truths is just as wrong as a mind full of false statements, only when both are learned can one truly be wise. Knowledge can be past on throught teachings, but wisdom is not transferrable, only found through self realizations. In the thicket of opinons where do you find your self?..hopefully exiting
