Today I made a young lady sad
Today I stepped up to the plate
I came to terms with my emotions
Despite the outcome, I was honest
Despite probably causing a rift between OUR friends
...I did it
Today I see what it feels like to be a man
and today is a day that I wish I was still a boy
Regardless of the outcome, I hope ive gained a friend
